Kiwi

 

    Kiwi is an annual deciduous vine with a large, woody trunk, like grapes. Vigorous vines need tilled soil, frequent watering and protection from the wind. Although the plant needs a mild climate to grow healthily, it needs winter cold for the shoots to grow. The plant starts flowering in May and the crop is harvested in mid-October to November.
