Orange

Orange refers to Citrus sinensis, a tree of the genus Citrus, and its fruit. Since it first arrived in Turkey from Portugal, it was called Portugal fruit, meaning Portuguese fruit, and over time it was simplified into orange. It is believed that orange is a natural hybrid of pomelo and tangerine.
